Fear Of Success

Is fear of success the very thing that's keeping you from success itself? This is a factor for many people. Fear of failure, or fear of looking foolish, can demotivate us until we allow that fear to control our actions.

There are strategies for dealing with fear of success, however. The first recommended action is that you simply write down what you are afraid of. Sometimes the act of writing takes away a fear, by putting words onto something you take the fear away.

Another strategy that can be effective is to ask yourself if you have any control over what you're afraid of. If you don't, then put that fear into a box and store it away, it's useless and gets you nowhere. If it is something that you have control over, however, plan out a worst case scenario situation and then think about what you can do to avoid it. For example, possibly you're afraid that a new promotion at work will make you too busy to spend enough time with your family. What can you do to avoid this? Maybe the extra salary will pay for a family holiday, maybe you could get a personal trainer and avoid spending unnecessary time at the gym. Coming up with solutions to problems created by your fears is an effective way of neutralizing those fears.

The most important thing that you can realise is that these fears have no place in your life. Success is about taking risks. Your life is better spent taking calculated risks to gain success than it is spent worrying about things that might or could happen. Success comes to those who dare. Letting fear rule your life is letting fear steal away your opportunities. Don't let fear prevent you achieving the success that you deserve.

Story of Pablo and Bruno

The Story Of Pablo and Bruno

Once upon a time, there were two men named Pablo and Bruno who lived in a village on the bottom of a mountain. The village had a problem, the only way they were to receive water was from the top of the mountain.

Bruno had a business idea, every morning, he would walk up the mountain, fill buckets of water, carry them while walking all the way down to the village. He would sell the buckets of water to the village and he made lots of money.

Pablo had a different idea, he thought of building a pipeline that would connect the water at the top of the mountain to the village at the bottom. He would make money by earning a percentage of profits from the pipeline. However this would take time.

Bruno laughed at Pablo’s idea and continued to make lots of money carrying buckets of water. Pablo went away and started his idea.

2 years later, Pablo finished his project and finally built the pipeline. The pipeline was a huge success because it delivered fresh water faster, it was cleaner and it was cheaper than Bruno’s efforts.

However, Bruno’s efforts were lacking. Due to constant walking up and down the mountain, the quality of the water would be affected and sometimes was covered in dirt making the water unclean. Bruno’s strategy for beating Pablo was to work harder, he would carry more buckets of water up and down the mountain.

Bruno did this for many years and became weak until he could no longer carry buckets of water up and down the mountain. He could no longer earn any more money. However Pablo was sitting on a beach while earning money from the pipeline he created many years ago. He never worked again.

Bruno was focusing on Active Income while Pablo was focusing on Passive Income.

The moral of the story is, you can not work 40 hours per week for the rest of your life, there will be a time when you need to retire or unable to work due to unexpected circumstances such as medical bills, being fired from your job or injury.

Home remedies for Dandruff and Hair fall

Suffering from dandruff, results in hair falling.

The cause of dandruff is usually due to the overworking of the sebaceous glands. These glands produce oil and help shed dead skin. In the case of a dandruff sufferer, the sebaceous glands are overactive, shedding more skin than usual.

Hormonal imbalance.

Poor health.

Poor hygiene.

Allergic hypersensitive.

Lack of rest.

Emotional stress.

Nutritional deficiencies, for example, a lack of vitamin B or essential fatty acids.

A diet high in sugar refined carbohydrates, fat and starch.

Heredity predisposition.

Excessive use of hair sprays and gels.

Improper use of hair-colouring products or excessive use of hot hair curlers or curling irons.

Cold weather and dry indoor heating.

Stress and anxiety.

An overgrowth of yeast fungus (pityrosporum ovale) can lead to dandruff. The condition may improve in the summer and get worse in winter, because UVA light from the sun counteracts pityrosporum ovale.

Treatment for dandruff and hair loss:-

• Always use a natural shampoo or soap to clean the hair. As most soaps and shampoos have chemicals, they might be the cause of your problem. Usually the chemicals have a heating effect, and increase Pitta locally. Amala (embilica officinalis), Shikakai (Acacia concinna) are very commonly used in India for washing the hair.

• Oiling and massaging of scalp is very beneficial for stopping the hair loss. Use coconut oil or mustard oil at least three times in a week. Certain medicated oils like 'Mahabhringraj oil', 'Amala oil', and 'Arnica oil' are very useful. Put oil on the scalp, and massage gently in the roots of the hair.

• Rub your scalp vigorously after washing the hair. It increases the blood circulation, and activates the sebaceous glands. Take the oil that contains vitamin E. Vitamin E prevents the hair fall and reduces the brittleness of hair and also cure the dry and flaky skin.

• Daily application of coconut oil mixed with lime juice on the hair is also beneficial. Applying juice of green coriander leaves on the head is also good.

• Washing the hair with a paste of cooked Urad dal (black beans) and fenugreek (methi) 2-3 times a week, is also good.

• A paste of licorice made by grinding it in milk can be applied in the bald patches. It induces hair growth. A paste of seeds of lemon and black pepper may also be applied on the bald patches.

Food and Home Remedies for Ayurveda Hair Loss Treatment:-

• The diet should contain more green leafy vegetables, salads, milk, fruits and sprouts. Take more proteins, milk, buttermilk, yeast, wheat germ, soybean and vitamin A.

• Every morning eat white sesame seeds as these have plenty of magnesium and calcium that are essential for the growth of hair.

• Daily eat curd.

• A special Ayurvedic preparation made from Bhringraj (Eclipta elba), Amala, corals, iron and black sesame seeds is very useful, and even stops the graying of hair.

• A mixture of lettuce and spinach juice is good to drink to induce hair growth. The juice of alfalfa mixed with that of carrot, and lettuce juice is also good to take.

• Drink 1/3rd cup of aloe vera juice daily. You can also take 1 tbsp of aloe vera gel with a pinch of cumin. Take it thrice a day for 2-3 months to control hair loss.

Herbs for Ayurveda Hair Loss Treatment:-

• Take apple cider vinegar and sage tea to rinse your hair. This induces the growth of hair.

• If your hair are dry then consume burdock and marshmallow tea.

• Massage your scalp regularly with horsetail.

These remedies are worth trying and will solve your hair problems.
